Before the consultation
Once the appointment has been made, it is usual prior to the consultation for the homeopath to have a long chat with a parent to discuss their child's health problem. During the discussion the homeopath will find out about the symptoms, how the condition is affecting the child, and information about the child's temperment. This provides useful background information.
The Consultation
The homeopath aims to make the consultation as pleasant as possible for children. A range of suitable toys, paper and pencils will be available for play.
A home visit may be arranged for children with special needs living within a reasonable distance of Lichfield, if this is more suitable.
